As there is no downtime required after carbon facial, you can apply mineral makeup 2 hours after treatment if you wish. However, if you can avoid wearing makeup for the first few days whilst your skin is still red, this will provide the best results. It’s best to use an SPF moisturiser underneath and avoid any harsh chemicals contained in some makeup that can irritate your skin further.
