- You may have some discomfort, swelling, redness, peeling of the skin, and bruising around the treatment area(s); this should disappear within a few days.
- If you notice any areas of skin that become blistered, broken, pale or grey in colour, or if you are experiencing ongoing and worsening pain or swelling, you should seek immediate advice. This could be a sign of an adverse reaction to the treatment.
- Avoid the following for 24 hours:
No touching or rubbing of the skin (this includes facials and facial massage)
No makeup application
No excessive exercise or alcohol
No saunas, steam rooms or swimming pools
Use fresh, clean pillowcases
Clean your mobile phone
Use fresh, clean towels
- For 7 days –No exfoliating skin actives such as acid-based cosmetic products, retinol and scrubs.
- For 2 weeks – No botulinum toxin treatments, No prescription skin actives such as benzoyl peroxide, retinoids or topical medications and No fake tan.
- For 4 weeks – No filler treatments, No laser treatment, No sun exposure.
