Winter skin  advice!

1,Weekends at the beach are long gone but your sun protection factor (SPF) shouldn’t be. Not only does SPF provide protection from sun damage it also guards your skin from free radicals. Free radicals (pollution, second hand smoke, cold, wind, etc) can cause skin to be dehydrated and look aged. By simply adding a SPF to your daily routine you are protecting your skin. Luckily SPF is in a lot of moisturizers and even makeup. We recommend using SPF 15 to 30 every day for the winter months.

2,  Exfoliation is an important step in keeping your skin glowing. It takes off the dead layers of skin that cause blackheads, clogged pores, and dryness. You should exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week for a deeper clean, that normal cleansers don’t give. It is  especially important in the winter since skin tends to be flaky and dry this time of year.

  1. Between the cold air outside and the dry heat in our homes skin takes a beating. It’s important to keep your skin hydrated.  The drier your skin is the more likely it is to show fine lines and wrinkles, so make sure you’re moisturising every night.  If you have oily skin then stick to an oil free moisturizer to prevent the greasy feel and clogged pores.

Products of the month!

Product of the month was picked this month by Kelly. Environ’s β-Active Sebuwash is a foaming, gel cleanser that gently removes excess oils and environmental debris without drying the skin.

Kelly says “It removes all my make up with no need for an extra eye make up remover & my skin feels really fresh & clean after using. It’s just an easy cleansing wash to go along side my daily skin care routine. I love it!”.
